HIVE Business Incubator

Attendance & Performance Expectation Agreement

The Buda HIVE Business Incubator is a hands-on program designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners grow, strengthen, and sustain their businesses through mentorship, workshops, and collaboration. To ensure the success of every participant and the cohort as a whole, consistent participation and engagement are required.

Program Dates: November 5, 2025 – January 7, 2026
Hosted by: Buda Economic Development Corporation (Buda EDC)

1. Attendance Expectations

To complete the incubator successfully, each participant agrees to:

Attend a minimum of 7 of the 8 scheduled weekly programming sessions.
Notify the Administrative Assistant at least 24 hours in advance if unable to attend a session.
Participate fully in coaching sessions, guest speaker programs, and workshops.
Be punctual and present for the full session time (typically 2 hours each week).
Schedule make-up sessions if approved and available.

2. Professional Conduct

Participants are expected to:

Arrive on time and ready to engage.
Treat all cohort members, mentors, and staff with respect.
Contribute positively to group discussions and collaborative projects.
Maintain confidentiality regarding other participants’ business information.
Refrain from any behavior that disrupts the learning environment.

3. Performance & Engagement

To ensure meaningful outcomes, each participant commits to:

Completing assignments, worksheets, or pitch materials on time.
Meeting with business coaches as scheduled (up to 3 individual sessions).
Participating in at least one networking or community event (e.g., Chamber mixer, Venture Fest, etc.).
Preparing a final pitch or presentation summarizing business progress by the program’s conclusion.
Maintaining active communication with the Buda HIVE team and coaches.

4. Program Integrity

The Buda HIVE is a collaborative and professional learning environment. Participants represent not only their businesses but also the spirit of entrepreneurship within the Buda community.
Failure to comply with attendance, conduct, or performance expectations may result in removal from the cohort or ineligibility for future programs.
